Interlibrary loans

To order material from other libraries is called interlibray loans. Are you unable to find what you are looking for among our collections? As a student, researcher or employee of Lund University, you can borrow books and articles from other libraries through your subject library.

If the item you wish to borrow is not held at any of the libraries within Lund University, we can order it for you from another library through an interlibrary loan. Check first whether the book or journal is not in the library catalogue LUBcat or in our search engine LUBsearch.

You order interlibrary loans through your subject library, which can also provide more information on prices, loan periods, etc.

Service to other libraries

Libraries both in Sweden and abroad can order loans or copies from the Lund University’s collections. Libraries which have access to the LIBRIS ordering routine are primarily to order through that system. Other libraries can use our order form. Orders placed via this form are forwarded to the library holding the requested material. That library will then send the book/copies. Borrowed material should be returned to the holding library.

The network applies a common price list for other libraries.
