Library services during the COVID-19 outbreak

All 26 libraries at Lund University have in one way or another been affected by the COVID-19 outbreak. Some have been forced to close completely, others har limited their services and opening hours, some offer their support in different ways. In the list below you find information about every library's services. This applies to all places: We urge everyone with symptoms such as a runny nose, cough or fever to stay home. Protect yourself and others from the spread of infection and use our digital resources.

Astronomy Library

Biology Library

Campus Helsingborg, Library

The library is still open, but with limited opening hours. The staff asks you to tanke a moment to reconsider before you visit. Civil Engineering Library, LTH

The library is closed until further notice, but the LTH Study Centre is open as usual. Of course the library's digital resources are available as usual. More information about how COVID-19 affects the LTH Libraries' services can be found on their web page.

Economics and Management Library (LUSEM Library)

The library are still open, but with limited opening hours. You have access to the study places, but the number of persons per group room is restricted. The same services as always are offered, but digitally if possible. More information about how COVID-19 affects the LUSEM Library's services can be found on their web page.

Geolibrary

The library is still open, but with limited opening hours. Employees and students at the Department of Geology, and the Department of Physical Geography and Ecosystem Science have extended access around the library opening hours. During these extended hours you can check-out books yourself on the computer located near the loan desk. HT Libraries, Asia Library

The three libraries of the Joint Faculties of Humanities and Theology are still open, but with limited opening hours. The libraries offer study spaces and computers. No group studies! The same services as always are offered (digitally if possible), but you may experience som delay. HT Libraries, LUX Library

IIIEE Library, International institute for industrial environmental economics

The IIIEE library is closed until further notice. Digital resources are available as usual. See their web page.

Law Library

The library is still open, but with restricted opening hours. The majority of the reading seats in the Faculty’s library as well as all group rooms are closed. A limited number of work seats, including seats in the computer rooms, will be open to facilitate search for materials, use of reference materials and access to equipment for distance teaching and examination. Library of Architecture and Design, LTH

Malmö Academy of Music Library

The library is open but will close from April 27 until further notice. The digital collection is of course available as usual. You can find more information on the library web page.

Malmö Art Academy Library

Malmö Theatre Academy Library

Medical Faculty Library, BMC, Lund

The study centres at BMC, CRC and HSC are open as usual, but library information desks have shorter opening hours. You who are visiting the libraries are kindly asked to keep you distance and to bring your LU card in order to check out books in the the lending machines. Raoul Wallenberg Institute Library

The library is closed until further notice. The digital collection is of course available as usual. You can contact the library to arrange with access or to borrow books. You can find more information on the library web page.

Social Sciences Faculty Library

University Library (UB)

The University Library is open with limited opening hours for you to collect reserved books and return books. Books from the Open Collection can only be requested in advance through LUBcat. Tegnérsalen, the, Special Collections Reading Room and the Microfilm Reading Room are open for pre-booked visits.  Other study spaces, group study rooms, computers and printing facilities are closed.
