Loan periods and overdue fees

Loan periods for monographs are still normal. But you have now eleven automatic renewals for your course books. You log into LUBcat to check your loans. If you are healthy and have the opportunity, you should of course return the books you have borrowed - keep in mind that others can stand in line for the books. No overdue fees will be generated as from Thursday 19 March and until further notice.

Return books

Books can be returned at all libraries at Lund University. Some libraries, for exemple the University Library (UB), have a book drop box where you can return your books.

You can also return books by ordinary mail.

Open access due to the coronavirus

Many publishers have made their publications freely available as a response effort due to the difficulties caused by coronavirus. We will gather information about open resources in our Swedish LibGuide 'LUBsearch & Elektroniska resurser' .
