In June, a new library system, LUBcat, will replace our current system, Lovisa. The functionality of the new system will not contain any significant changes compared to the current one. LUBcat is based on open-source software and will include some useful new features, for example, it will be easier to log in.
Lovisa will be shut down the 7th of June at 12:00 am and LUBcat will be up and running before midsummer. During this period, our services for loaning and returning books will be limited. More information about the libraries' service can be found on this page later on. Visit our opening hours page for information about limited opening hours at the libraries during the replacement period.
We greatly appreciate if you return and/or check out the books you need before Lovisa is shut down, as this will make the process of changing systems go smoother. As of noon on the 7th of June, it will not be possible to renew loans or queue for books. From the 25th of May, it will not be possible to order books from our depots or from one library at Lund University to another.
If you have any questions, please ask the staff at your library or send an e-mail to info [at] ub [dot] lu [dot] se.
