Pro Vice-Chancellor Bo-Anders Jönsson and Dep. University Librarian Eva Nylander will open the conference and welcome everyone to Lund.

9:00 – 9:25    Keynote Wilhelm Widmark; The road towards transformative agreements in Sweden
Wilhelm Widmark is the Library Director of Stockholm University scince 2012. He has a Master of Arts in literature and a Master of Arts in library and information science from Uppsala University. Wilhelm is active in the Open Science movement in Sweden and Europe. He is the Vice Chairman of the Swedish Bibsam consortia and the Vice Chairman of The National Library’s council on Open Access to Scientific Publication. Member of EUAs Expert Group on Open Science.

13:00 – 13:25    Nina Karlstrøm: The road to transition to OA in Norway
Nina Karlstrøm has a background as a librarian, and since 2011 has worked with national coordination on Open Access in Norway. In 2016 Nina became Head of Section for the team negotiating licence agreements at the newly formed organization Unit, and by combining the Open Access coordinator role and the negotiating role, started preparing for what is later known as transformative agreements. Nina sits in the Project Steering Committee of the EU-financed project OpenAIRE, and she is also on the OA2020 Advisory Board. She has previously been on the Executive Committee of SCOAP3.
