WHO REQUIRES OPEN DATA?
Demands for open research data are placed upon researchers from several directions, including funding bodies, research journals and occasionally also higher education institutions.

Requirements from funders and higher education institutions

Funding bodies and higher education institutions are increasingly demanding open and organised research data. A discussion on this topic is currently pursued also at Lund University, but so far it has not led to any decisions.

More and more funding bodies not only expect open data but a plan on how the research data will be used throughout the project.
