A guide for producing electronic course packs

This guide answers the most common questions about the production and use of electronic course packs. You will be informed about the rights and responsibilities you have as a teacher when you produce and distribute digitally copied teaching material. The guide is intended for faculty of Lund University.

The guide is much to summary to cover all those aspects of copyright law that concern digital copying. It is not to be considered a legal document and does not replace legislation and agreements. The guide is only intended to give a short introduction to the rules that affect the daily work of the teachers of Lund University.

A number of different documents have been consulted when compiling this guide. In addition to the copyright law (SFS 1960:729 and amendment), the agreement for 2006 between the university and Bonus Presskopia as well as "Rätten till undervisningen och forskningen?" by Claes Sandgren are of particular importance.
There is as yet no English version of this guide. If you do not read Swedish, please contact karin.ohrt@remove-this-part.lub.lu.se for further information.
