Welcome to Basic IL!

In Basic IL you can learn the basics of information literacy, i.e. how to efficiently use information, literature and library resources for your studies.

Basic IL consists of shorter texts, examples and excercises. The content is quite general, in order to be applied in different subject areas.

Basic IL consists of three sections:

• Search methods and search techniques
• Information resources and material types
• Sources and evaluation

It takes about an hour to complete Basic IL.
