What does Lund University Libraries Head Office do?

Lund University Libraries Head Office, BD, is responsible for running and developing the joint digital library. BD coordinates the activities at the LUB and handles competence development issues, quality work and projects within different fields.   

The BD’s areas

The work within the BD is divided into the fields of digital library, scientific communication, support for learning, LUB-support and BD-support (administration), and the work is carried out around services and development work. Each field has it´s own coordinator.

Competence development among the employees within LUB is highly prioritised. Regional, national and international cooperation is another significant field, as well as evaluations and quality work. There is an administration supporting the activity, and there is also support for cooperation and the library network.

The Director of Libraries is the head of the BD.
