The Library Council consists of the Director of Libraries, the Chief Director of the University Library as well as a head of library from each faculty, and a representative from libraries not belonging to a faculty.

Function

The Library Council’s function is to prepare strategic errands for the Library Board and to advice the Director of Libraries about questions that he decides. The Library Council at LUB has at its disposal a number of work and reference groups working on activity related issues:
